Hello dnswl.org users, If you use rsync to download data, you may have noticed an error message similar to this one: | rsync: failed to connect to rsync1.dnswl.org: Connection refused (111) | rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(124) The root cause for this error was on our end: The rsync daemon died (for reasons not yet known), and was not properly monitored/alarmed. The rsync daemon is up and running since 08:20 UTC, and serving your download requests. As dnswl.org data changes very slowly, there is no urgency to restart failed downloads. It should be sufficient to just wait for the next cycle. We will improve the monitoring in order to detect such a situation earlier. -- Matthias, for dnswl.org
