Re: [dnswl-users] A question of the request's source.

Hello Artur,

you must add the IP you use to send the outgoing mails,

normaly this is the ip of your mailserver, since that one is contacting
the

other mailservers to deliver mails to xy@xxxxxxxxxx

Betreff: [dnswl-users] A question of the request's source.

Hi list,

Recently while working on lowering spam scores of mails sent by the
company I'm hired by I stumbled upon an email that got negative points
for being listed on dnswl. I never heard of it before that. I thought
what a great idea to improve the delivering of our mail such as
newsletters to our clients.
But then when I started reading and because English is not a language
I'm very proficient at there was something that I was not really sure
of. Namely who should be making the request. In my company's case in
sending mail there are 3 participants. Us, the company providing the
internet shop and the system for sending mail and finally the company
hosting our mailboxes. The question is when filling a request who should
actually be doing it. Which IP and domain should we provide in the
request form. Our local, our mail sending provider or is it the one of
our mailbox.
If it might help I am adding some of the information that is in the
mails we send (newsletter):

Received: from spirit.triger.com.pl (unknown [78.46.107.226])
by czteryglowy.nazwa.pl (Postfix) with SMTP id F1FCF34C0456
    for <a.dampc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Tue, 8 Mar 2011 13:26:55 +0100 (CET)
X-TDBG: tqs3
Received: from fire.triger.com.pl (fire.triger.com.pl [213.218.120.40])
    by spirit2.triger.com.pl (envelope-from <ssl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>)
    (tss 3.0) with SMTP id 238900212 for <a.dampc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>;
    Tue Mar 8 13:25:59 2011 +0100

Thank you.
