I'm not seeing any problems with any of the servers (a.ns.dnswl.org -
f.ns.dnswl.org) from the UK at the moment.

$ dig +short 2.0.0.127.list.dnswl.org @a.ns.dnswl.org.
127.0.10.0

Could it be a problem at your ISP's recursive name server?  Try a dig
<http://www.isc.org/downloads/> and see what server responds.
