I'm seeing rsync errors getting more and more frequent. The attached chart plots, for each error, the date against log10(1e7/(date - previous date)), so the triangles near the top mark errors occurring a short time after the previous one. Frequency is increasing.

We experienced an increased number of database connections. This resulted in some connections being dropped / refused and hence, which also impacted some rsync transactions.

As a quick fix we increased the max_connections in Postgres. For overall better performance, we are in the process of upgrading and migrating the database infrastructure (and other components as well).

Thank you for doing that, and for the quick reply.

So I keep the current configuration. There is no loss of functionality on our side.

Best
Ale
