Hello everybody,i'm running a mail-server responsible for multiple domains. I have claimed my own domain with dnswl.org and added two IP-addresses associated with mail-relays for this domain. Now, it appears that, unfortunately, i have completely misunderstood how dnswl.org works, as i was under the impression, that i could associate these IP-addresses with further domains claimed on dnswl.org. As i come to understand, this appears not to be the case and now i suspect that mails, relayed from these IP-addresses for other domains than the one associated on dnswl.org are getting negative lookup-scores in spam-filters as a result of this change.
I have now "unclaimed" the domain associated with the two IP-addresses in question in hope of stopping the negative results spam-filters are producing due above described.
What would be the correct procedure in this case?Should i have made a change request for removing these ip-addresses with the domain in question instead of releasing the whole domain claim on dnswl.org?
I woud like to offer my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused operators at dnswl.org.
Best regards, Sydney.
